Born with dual Greek/German nationality, Efthimis Kosemund-Sanidis studied Informatics Engineering in Athens and Contemporary Arts at Le Fresnoy - Studio National in France. His shorts, II, UNBUILT LIGHT, ASTROMETAL and ALL THE FIRES THE FIRE, have been screened and have won acclaim at major film festivals such as Venice, Locarno, Clermont-Ferrand, art venues like Forum des Images, Centre Pompidou, Haus der Kulturen der Welt, and have been distributed on platforms like Festival Scope and Mubi. He is a member of the Hellenic Film Academy and an alumnus of the Berlinale and Sarajevo Talents. He has directed TV commercials for leading brands, winning a plethora of awards and being showcased on platforms such as Shots and Yatzer. 

He is currently developing his debut feature film, LITTLE DEATH, in residency at the Medienboard/Nipkow Berlin AiR.
